Doesn’t the Wemby $1M bounty seem like a ploy to get people to buy a crappy product? If there’s no bounty, wouldn’t it just sit on shelves unsold at some point…

Using the "basement'" area would probably add some cost, both with rental costs, and added staff to manage that area. I imagine they will look to expand to there as the show becomes more popular. Regarding the "gift shop" area, based on my experience of the foot traffic that area gets at NYCC, I imagine it would be significantly easier for shoplifters to grab-and-go. You have so many people moving in so many different directions that keeping an eye on everything would be a lot harder.

Any info on Fanatics event last weekend in Sept. at PNC Park?

I believe NYCC has a VIP lounge area (nothing fancy; just a place to take a break without finding a spot on the floor out of traffic). That would be a cheap add for them to improve the experience, especially if they include a place to trade.

Good update on things , I've been a little distracted the last week or 2 with other things, so this was good to get the overview of what's happening. Looking forward to some football charts and graphs videos as we get closer. I have to say this is the most excited I've been for both n f l and college going into a season. So many good storylines and good young players to take interest in and of course, the expanded college playoff.

Good idea on the Chicago hotel reservations. As I did in 2023, I reserved the Chicago Hyatt that is 1 mile away from the convention center. I’m a Hyatt Rewards member, and that hotel allows me to utilize my Rewards points - so I have all 4 nights for free. The Hyatt connected to the convention center won’t accept points. So it’s only a $5 Uber ride for me each day, and actually a pleasant walk unless it’s 100 degrees, or if I’m lugging a Zion case.

Great video today! Such exciting times for the hobby, truly. NFL starting…card shows are rocking…amazing 1/1’s being released, NBA starts soon enough, college football next week, WNBA is more popular than anyone imagined. All good stuff.

Lot of geoff haters not realising the 250k is simply a guaranteed minimum bid. Could be 250k, could be 2.5m. It's not worth much more than that anyway given we're about to see way more lebron autos in the coming years both single and dual

Goodness gracious where do I begin??!!! First, not surprised that this channel had the “ same reaction “ to cards hq and cc2 with regards to fanatics fest! Of course they’ll not criticize because they may lose access or “press” badges! (Like any RUclips content creator is a real member of the press). As a REAL seller of sports cards, let me give my opinion on taking credit cards at shows! No brainer??!! Really??!! Ok does NEO take credit cards during trade nights or any other time when everyone is setting up for free??!! Of course the answer, once again, is NO. Why isn’t NEO or any other trade night folks walking around with credit card readers as well???!!! Hypocrisy run amok!! Speaking for myself, if I EVER set up as a dealer at a show, EVERYONE will pay cash or move along! Too many POS’s, and scammers who may do chargebacks! I’ll pass. NEO or any content creator is free to show video of THEMSELVES taking credit! Trust me, the video will be short

This is an amazing card. But it is in fact a lottery ticket. I’d say I would get it graded at PSA myself. Let the would be bounty hunters know I would be happy to entertain their presentations like an NBA free agent and have them fly me out. Would be a lot of fun. It’s worth way more than 500K. Selling it should be a fun experience. If that’s your kind of thing. Monster card.

Yeah good luck because people dont understand that the more you buy the harder it is to get the card all you have to do is buy one but they like making crazy unnecessary print runs making it harder on everyone

If I open it, I would try to trade for my grail wants, a combination of MJ & Kobe dual auto patch, Kobe Essential Credentials, Super Rave, Rubies, etc.

I would hold awhile and let the dust settle. I think on Goldin with his deep pocket bidders would go even higher than 500k. Definitely would sell and or buy me a few single autos of all 3 (Curry, Lebron, KD) and even Brady

Sell. I have no skin in the NBA, right now; my team hasn't existed since the 2008-2009 season (RIP Supersonics). That said, knowing that the cars will probably break or set a record at auctions, i think the seller should counter with the offered bounty + 5-10% of the final auction price. The next triple autos will be top stars of NBA championship teams together. LeBron, Wade, and Bosh. Curry, Klay, and KD. Kawhi, Siacam, and FVV. Giannis, Middleton, and Holiday. Maybe the top three stars on NBA championship teams for a decade. Maybe even a random Jordan, Pipen, and Rodman one.
